We bring you an overview of current activities and opportunities they can get involved in — from the autumn staff week in Pécs, through a newly forming Community of Practice, to the call for EDUC Ambassadors.

Detailed information and registration:

European Digital UniverCity (EDUC) Good Practices Staff Week

  • 15–18 October 2025 at the University of Pécs. More information here.
  • Registration is open until 24 August 2025 via this form.
  • Format: On-site.

Community of Practice (CoP)

  • The Centre for International Cooperation (CZS), together with CERPEK, plan to establish a Community of Practice for teachers to share their experience, best practices, and challenges in course design (especially online). At Masaryk University, two on-site CoP meetings will take place by the end of 2026 (the first one in autumn 2025). Within the global EDUC network, three online CoP meetings are planned.
  • You can also join the MS Teams group where we will share information about upcoming CoPs and other EDUC activities. Participation in the group does not require taking part in the CoPs. Join the MS Teams group here.
  • Format: On-site and online.

Call for EDUC Ambassadors

  • If you have taught a course within the EDUC framework and are willing to share your experience, you can become an EDUC Ambassador. Ambassadors are expected to participate in Community of Practice (CoP) meetings organised at MU (on-site) and within EDUC (online). Financial compensation is offered for your time.
  • Apply by 24 August 2025 via this form.
  • Format: On-site and online.

The training courses will be conducted online and in English.

Last but not least we would like to remind you that the participation in a specific training course is subject to approval by the employee’s supervisor, in line with the faculty directive, Education and Development of Employees at the Faculty of Science MU.
